6.3.1. Ossian Impact

  1. For decommissioning, which is expected to take place after the operation and maintenance lifespan of the Array, it was estimated that the cost could be £542 million, of which £162 million (30%) could be secured in the UK (all of which could be secured in Scotland). It is assumed that the remaining 70% could be secured elsewhere in the world (Table 6.19).

6.3.2. Array Impact

  1. The decommissioning spend associated with the Array was estimated to be £174 million, of which £52 million (30%) could be secured in Scotland and the UK (Table 6.23).
