8. Maximum Design Scenario

8.1. Summary of Impact by PDE Option

  1. The maximum design scenario is the PDE Option that is expected to generate least beneficial impacts. For each of the four PDE Options of Ossian, Table 8.1 and Table 8.2 summarise the economic impacts in Scotland and Table 8.3 and Table 8.4 summarise the economic impacts in the UK. As the PDE Option with the lowest economic impacts, PDE Option 4 has been identified as the maximum design scenario and has therefore been assessed as part of the socio-economics EIA chapter (volume 2, chapter 18).
